Quiz, virtual tour, artistic boxes, coloring drawings: the POP Museum brings its touch to the holiday season with its program of virtual activities or to do at home with the family.
Currently closed due to current sanitary measures, the Museum offers a virtual tour of the permanent exhibition Fasten your tuque! A breathtaking trip to Quebec culture.
Here are the other activities offered.
Grandpa and Grandma’s Christmas gifts
The collector of old toys, Jean Bouchard, describes the toys offered to children in the past and shows some of them. A beautiful intergenerational meeting that will undoubtedly captivate young and old.
It is to be discovered at museepop.ca/activites-famille/calendrier-d-activites/programmation-familiale-virtuelle
Two online quizzes are offered to families: one to test knowledge of Quebec culture, inspired by the themes of the exhibition Fasten your tuque! and the other to discover of which objects of our daily life, the artifacts in the Museum’s collections are the ancestors.
The POP Museum offers coloring pictures to learn more about the Museum’s buildings and collection. Families are invited to download and color them and then take pictures for posting on social media with #museepop and @museepop.
