COVID-19: 146 new cases in Mauricie / Center-du-Québec – L’

In the last 24 hours, the CIUSSS de la Mauricie-et-du-Center-du-Québec has identified 146 new cases of COVID-19. Of this number, 34 cases were identified in Mauricie and 112 in Center-du-Québec.

We also deplore three deaths, one in CHSLD and two in intermediate resources or private residences for seniors.

In Mauricie, the new cases are concentrated in La Tuque (+2), Trois-Rivières (+22), Shawinigan (+8) and two in the MRC de Maskinongé. In Trois-Rivières, the Myosotis residence reports six new confirmed cases, one among its employees and five among the residents.

We note a decrease of four hospitalizations in the region, 43 people being hospitalized at the moment, including six (+1) in intensive care.

A total of 94 people have recovered from COVID-19 since the last toll on Tuesday.
