Eagles: McNorton back to the mound – L’

The Trois-Rivières Eagles have reached an agreement with veteran pitcher Kevin McNorton who will play a fourth season in the Eagles uniform.

The 29-year-old right-hander, fourth in franchise history with 18 wins, has an earned run average of 3.95 in 264 innings of work. He thus won one of the three precious records of veteran status allowed by the Frontier League to each team.

“Kevin has been one of the Eagles’ main leaders both on the pitch and in the locker room over the past few seasons. He loves to play in Trois-Rivières and he is appreciated by the fans. He has what it takes to be our pitching ace, because he knows how to win and pitch effectively game after game, ”said manager Matthew Rusch.
