How the Warriors are adjusting to Friday’s game in Phoenix being postponed

As games across the NBA are postponed because of the league’s coronavirus health and safety protocols, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is prepared to adjust quickly as the season goes on.

“You kind of know that this kind of stuff is going to happen this year,” Kerr said, “so you just adapt accordingly.”

Following the league’s decision to postpone Friday’s game between the Warriors and Phoenix Suns, the league announced Thursday that the Suns’ game on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers is called off. It becomes the 10th game postponed during this pandemic-shortened season.

Although the Warriors and Pacers have all of their players currently available, the Suns do not have the league-required eight available players due to ongoing contact tracing within the organization.
