Ministerial reshuffle: the Chamber of Commerce comments – L’

Following the announcement of the ministerial reshuffle of the federal government, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Trois-Rivières (CCI3R) would like to remind the elected officials concerned of the importance of the Trois-Rivières files, worked with ardor by our organization in in recent years, even decades.

“François-Philippe Champagne has always been sensitive to the realities of the Trois-Rivières business world and knowing that he is the Minister of Innovation is very positive for us. We will work together with him and his team in the face of the challenges that lie ahead. To know that the Minister responsible for the Economy in Canada is from the region is excellent news, ”shares the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Jean Pellerin.

As for the new Minister of Transport, the Chamber will continue its persuasive efforts to reiterate the importance of the high frequency train (TGF) project in our country, a project for which the benefits have been repeatedly demonstrated.

“I am confident that Mr. Alghabra understands how hard we have worked on this infrastructure project. This file will remain a priority for us, as it should be for all the Chambers of Commerce that are on its route. Despite the delay in the procedures, Mr. Garneau has always been welcome to our events and has participated on several occasions. The Honorable Alghabra will also be invited and we hope to meet him eventually, ”added Mr. Pellerin.
