Free COVID testing

Santa Clara County will continue providing free, appointment-based COVID-19 testing on a consistently scheduled, rotating basis into January and February.

Testing will be conducted from 9:30 am-4 pm on the following Mondays at Murphy Park, 260 N. Sunnyvale Ave .: Jan. 11 and 25, and Feb. 8 and 22.

Appointments are required to Appointments will be open for scheduling seven days before the testing date. Once all appointments are filled, the location will no longer appear for scheduling on the website.

Take a hike online

Bay Area Older Adults is hosting a Jan. 14 Lunch and Learn program, featuring a virtual hike of Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve, in partnership with Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.

This hike runs along rolling hills from Long Ridge to Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve on partly shady trails with views of the eastern foothills, past a chestnut farm and Christmas tree farm, then around Horseshoe Lake.

Along the way, participants will see wildlife and learn about the local chestnut farm and Skyline Ridge Christmas Tree Farm Restoration Project. The program runs noon-1 pm and will end with a question-and-answer session.
