Three one-person shows on tap at Los Altos Stage

Los Altos Stage Company is kicking off a three-play streaming mini-season for 2020-21, with the first production, “Fully Committed,” running Dec. 11-20.

Max Tachis plays more than 40 characters in “Fully Committed,” a 75-minute tour de force. Tachis’ main character Sam works the reservation line at one of New York’s hottest restaurants.

The play is directed by Roneet Aliza Rahamin and was produced using all required safety protocols and in full compliance with current Santa Clara County pandemic guidelines.

The other two shows in the season are “Ann,” running Jan. 22 -31, and “Thom Pain (based on nothing),” Feb. 26-March 7.

“Ann” by Holland Taylor features Judith Miller as former Texas Gov. Ann Richards. “Thom Pain,” Will Eno’s surreal meditation on life’s unfulfilled promise, features Michael Champlin in the title (and only) role. Both shows are directed by Gary Landis.
